Miriam’s visibility was slow until this happened

Though our area of Cumberland County, TN, was not negatively impacted by this weekend’s winter storm, we know that many west of us in Nashville and the Southeast were devastated by the ice. We went through a similar storm over a decade ago and know how tough it can be to recover, but you can recover. Just take it one tree, one limb at a time.

Reachin’ out. Touchin’ me, touchin’ you.
Sweet Social Media, bum, bum bum…

If you’ve been following Miriam’s social media accounts on Facebook and Instagram, you have seen the incredible videos that Miriam’s grandson, Noah, has created of her work. He recently completed his MBA, works a full-time job, and is a dad and husband, so we greatly appreciate his effort and storytelling skills for capturing Miriam’s art.

These videos are a welcome change from our past sharing of Miriam’s art with the intention of introducing her work to a wider audience. It has been a huge success, especially on Facebook, where we’ve never had much traction. Since he started the new videos, over 136K people have been introduced to her art on Instagram, and she has over 3K new Facebook followers. The videos seem to be touching a lot of people who have never seen Miriam’s art.

This social media visibility has opened doors to exhibit opportunities and helped the right collectors find and acquire her work. Thanks to those who read and subscribed to her newsletter through the new videos.

Where can I see Miriam’s work for purchase?
We often get this question on social media. You can find select pieces of Miriam’s art available for purchase organized by collection and all available pieces here. Check often as we put more pieces online each month and we are offering free shipping in the U.S. on orders over $500.

Our not-so-secret sauce…Curator & Co.

Establishing Miriam’s artistic legacy is a goal we’ve been working toward for years. We’ve made some progress, but never had as much success as when we started working with art advisor and curator Mattie Lavelle at Curator & Co. in the summer of 2025. She has been instrumental in securing exhibits, an institutional acquisition of Miriam’s work, and a significant textile print contract with Hilton’s Graduate hotel, just to name a few successes. If you know an artist who in need of representation, please reach out to Mattie!

And that’s why 2026 is off to a great start establishing Miriam’s legacy.

Please email us at art@miriammcclung.com if you have questions about a work.
