Transitions: Miriam created a series of watercolor-on-paper collages in the late 1990s called “Great Is Thy Faithfulness” based on a hymn written in 1923 by the same name. She created the work by painting on pieces of watercolor paper every day for a year. The fluid nature of the watercolors painted as individual but cut-up pieces pasted into a tapestry reflects how life’s seemingly disjointed events are carefully placed together by a master artist whose vision and faithfulness do not change.
